Sheri J. Forkner Jarrett, age 34 of Columbus, Kansas passed away May 15, 2009 at the St. John's Maude Norton Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Kansas after a sudden illness.

Sheri was born February 7, 1975 in Albany, GA, the daughter of Billy and Shirley Ann Coy Forkner.

She worked at the SKILL in Columbus as a home health professional. She lived in the Columbus area for the past 26 years moving here from Albany.

She loved her kids and family and she was loved by all.

She married Benji Jarrett July 19, 1996 in Columbus, Kansas.

Survivors include the husband of the home, four children Shelby Forkner, Jerrica Jarrett, Austin Fenimore and Jacob Jarrett all of Columbus; mother Shirley Forkner of Columbus, Kansas; two sisters Glenda Conner of Stella, NC, Sheila Kimbrell of Niceville, FL. and one brother Mark Forkner of Columbus, Kansas, grandmother Mildred Coy of Topeka, Kansas, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 20, 2009 at the First Christian Church in Columbus with the Reverend Dick Glasgow officiating. Burial will be in the McKee Cemetery NW of Columbus. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus. Memorial have been set up for the Children's Education Fund.
