Lester "Chick" Linebrink, 67, 829 E. 2nd St., died in Defiance hospital at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday. He was born in Defiance, October 12, 1907, the son of John and Myrtle (Palm) Linebrink. He was married to Hallie Figley on June 18, 1928, and she died October 21, 1968. He married Florence (Neil) Hultz on September 13, 1969. She survives with a son, Roger Linebrink, route 4, two stepsons: Robert Hultz, Toledo and William Hultz, 43, Hickory Street, Defiance; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Foor, Everett, Pennsylvania; four grandsons, five-step grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He retired as an employee of the Ohio State liquor store in 1967. He also was employed at the Defiance Press Steel, Central Die & Stamping Company and the Goldenetz supermarket. He was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church and the Defiance racing pigeon club. Funeral services will be at the Mast and Mock funeral home, 3 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Carl Hock and the Rev. Sanford Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
