DEATH CLAIMS MRS. HOFF, 91
New Point Rites For Ex-Resident

Mrs. Susan Hoff, 91, a resident of the New Point community for over 60 years, passed away early Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. O. Behymer at Indianapolis. She had been in ill health for several years.

A native of St. Peters, she was the daughter of George and Louise Baker Hoff. For many years she had lived in the New Point community, where she was widely known and was held in high esteem.

Mrs. Hoff was a member of the Lutheran church but throughout the years had attended the Christian church at New Point. Her husband, John Hoff, who preceded her in death about 12 years ago, was a prominent citizen of the New Point community and served for a number of years as president of the First State bank there.

The survivors are: One son, Harve Hoff, of Waldron; a daughter, Mrs. E. O. Behymer and a granddaughter, Marilyn Behymer, both of Indianapolis. A daughter, Della Hoff preceded her in death.

Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Irving Hill chapel, 5377 East Washington street, Indianapolis, after which the body will be taken to New Point. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the New Point Christian church, followed by interment in the Rossburg cemetery.
