Services to be Held Today for 94-Year-Old Resident
General James Adolphus Glenn, 94-year-old Confederate veteran and one of Starkville's most beloved figures, died Wednesday night at his home near here following several months illness. Funeral services have been set for 9:30 Friday morning from the local Baptist church with Dr. J. D. Ray in charge. Dr. B. M. Walker, intimate friend of General Glenn, will also speak. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Hogan Glenn, a first cousin, Mrs. A. M. Maxwell of Starkville, and several nieces and nephews.
