William Critser, long a resident of Whitley township, passed away at his home Tuesday morning. While he had been poorly for some time, he had not been seriously ill until shortly before his death, which occurred about 2:00 o'clock Tuesday morning.
He is survived by four children, his wife having passed on a few year ago. The children are Delmar who has been in the U.S. Navy several years; Sarah, wife of Arnold Harpster of Whitley; Frances, wife of Vance Brackney of Harrisburg, Illinois and Billy who lived at home.
There are two grandchildren; Kathleeen and Betty Harpster.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Whitfield church, conducted by Rev. Webb of Windsor. Interment was in Whitfield cemetery.
