Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, with the Rev. James A. Robbins and the Rev. William Knight officiating. Burial will be in Country Holiness Cemetery.
He was a native of Chesterfield, S.C., the widower of Anna Threadgill Adams, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, where he was a Seabee, a retired truck driver and a member of First Baptist Church, Randleman.
Surviving are sons, Rodney Adams, Dickie Adams, both of Randleman, Tracy Adams of Weaver, Ala., Clark Adams of Kane, Pa., Eddie Wayne Adams of Star; sister, Sara Bell Adams of Ruby, S.C.; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Thursday, other times at the home of Rodney Adams, on Faith Way Trail, Randleman
