THE DAILY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Mon., March 2, 1936, p. 8, col. 5 [edited]. Newson B. Thomasson, 75, native of Henry County, Va., but for the past thirty years a resident of Leaksville-Spray, N.C., died suddenly Friday of a heart attack while at work in the American Warehouse there, where he was employed.
He is survived by his wife, who before her marriage was Miss Alice Bowe, of Henry County and several children, one of whom is Mrs. Annie Barrow of this county. Two brothers and five sisters also remain. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Second Christian Church in North Spray, followed by interment in Spray cemetery.
