Obituary

Anna Margaret "Ann" Tegge, 65, of Newark, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, in her daughter's arms at the Morey Center at Memorial Hospital of Union County.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and an extremely hard-working lady who gave so much of herself to those she loved. She was so proud of her daughter, and the two shared a relationship that was full of love, respect, admiration, and daily phone calls. She was a talented gardener and cook and enjoyed many pets throughout her life; She was of the Catholic faith and will be remembered for her selfless acts of love and sacrifice. She will be deeply missed by her family.

She was born June 14, 1940, in Philadelphia, to the late Ernest A. and Ethel A. KoEune Lenk.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Charles William Tegge, to whom she was married on July 11, 1979; her daughter, Beth (Jimmie) Cellar of Raymond; grandchildren, Tony, Amber, and Kristy Cellar; and family pets Cassie and Boomer, whom the deceased considered her "grand-doggies".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The Rev. David Poliafico will officiate. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
