Vera Hamilton was born to Elmer E. and Katie S. Hamilton. The Hamilton family lived in the Monrovia community around 1910.

Vera married Paris Wilson in Buchanan County Missouri and had one child, named Clarence P. Wilson. After living In Center Township, Atchison County Kansas, they relocated to Kansas City, where Paris worked for the phone company.

Mrs. Vera Pearl Wilson, 81, St. Joseph, formerly of Kansas City, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Monrovia, Kan., and had lived here before moving to Adrian, Mo. She had live in St. Joseph since 1973. Mrs Wilson was a member of the Adrian Christian Church. She leaves a son, Clarence Paris Wilson, Grandview; two brothers, Orville Hamilton, Medford, Ore, and the Rev. James M. Hamilton San Antonio, Tex.; two sisters Mrs. Bearl Christie, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Mildred Woolston, Rushville, Mo.: two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
