George E Brewer, 101 East Broadway, formerly of Ada, died Tuesday in the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services were at 2pm Thursday in the Assembly of God Church, Rev. JC Hilliard, assisted by rev Louis Hopkins, officiants. Dunn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mr. Brewer was born in Cass, Ark, Nov 23, 1893, and came to Oklahoma when a small child, residing in the southern part of the state most of his life. He moved to Sulphur from Ada in 1948.

A veteran of World War I, his military career included service overseas. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; a daughter, Mrs. Lucile Prince, Houston; a sister, Mrs. Jewell Rowe, Mill Creek; and 6 brothers, Bob, Roy, Jaya, Oliver, Newman, and Bud.
