Mrs. Alice Bond, 77, a life-long resident of Long Beach, died at her residence at 409 Klondyke Rd. at 11:55 P.M. Friday. Born March 28, 1895, in Long Beach, she was a housewife and a member of the Long Beach Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Henry Bond of Long Beach; two sons, Everett Bond, Long Beach, and Sable Woodcock, Gulfport: three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cuevas and Mrs. Della Alston, both of Gulfport, and Mrs. Marion Lee Alexander, Long Beach; a stepson Warren H. Bond, Memphis, Tenn.: four stepdaughters, Mrs. Hilda Bradley, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Daisy Parker, Mrs. Ethel Allen and Mrs. Isabel Chiniche, all of Long Beach; 30 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; four brothers, Owen Allen, Jessie Allen, Earl Allen, and Hardy Allen; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Dubuisson and Mrs. Olivia Ladner . A prayer service will be held at Riemann Funeral Home's Long Beach chapel at 2 p.. Sunday followed by the funeral service at Allen Cemetery with Rev. James Yarborough, Atlanta, GA., officiating. Friends may call at the Long Beach chapel prior to service time.
