Mrs. Margaret Josephine Hallaghan, 91, died at 11:50 o'clock this morning at the home of her great-niece, Mrs. Franklin Gibson, of 416 Third Street, after a long illness.
She was the widow of John Hallaghan and daughter of the late Patrick and Mrs. Catherine McTague Fahey.
Mrs. Hallaghan was a native and lifelong resident of Portsmouth and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
In addition to her great-niece, she is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Mary Leach, of Newport News; Mrs. John T. Hanson, and Mrs. Nellie Drew, both of Portsmouth; four nephews, William J. Fahey, of Portsmouth; Richard T. Fahey, of New York; William J. Winn, of Norfolk; and Thomas J. Winn, of Portsmouth.
The body was removed to the Richardson & Foster Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.
