Marjorie Elam Hollingsworth, 90, of Big Spring, died on Friday, July 23, 2010, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on July 3, 1920, in Groesbeck, Texas and married Robert Clyde Hollingsworth on January 19, 1941 in Gregg County, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1985.

Marjorie grew up in Savoy, Texas, graduating from Savoy High School and moved to Big Spring in 1956 from Kilgore.

She worked as a realtor for a number of years before working with her husband at his certified public accounting office.

She enjoyed playing bridge and played for many years.

She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Bobbye Deel and husband, Corkey of Big Spring and Dell Hollingsworth and husband, Paul Raffeld of Austin; a special friend, John Arista of Big Spring; her sister-in-law, Jayne Estes of Grand Prairie; two granddaughters, Tere Robitaille and husband, SGT 1st Class Steve Robitaille of Harker Heights and Kim Vincent and husband, Malcolm of Midland; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Vincent and Miles Vincent both of Midland and Lyndi Robitaille of Harker Heights.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Alberta Elam; and one brother, John Elam.
