last week at his Hyde Park home.
Native of Rhinebeck, son of Wil-
liam and Catherine Risley Crus-
ius, he lived at the Hyde
Park farm for the past twelve
years.

Dies at Hyde Park

HYDE PARK—The funeral of Albertus
Crusius, 80, lifelong resident
of Dutchess county, who died at his
home on the Murray road here yes-
terday, will be conducted from St.
Margaret's Episcopal church, Staats-
burg, at 2 o'clock tomorrow after-
noon. The Rev. Maxwell Bradner.
rector, will officiate. Burial will be
in Rhinebeck. under the direction of
Ralph V. R. Worden.
Mr. Crusius was born in the town
of Rhinebeck, June 7, 1859, the son
of William and Catherine Risley
Crusius. He had resided on his
present farm property the last 12
years. His wife, the former Mary
Dixon, died nine years ago.
Surviving are two sons, Harold of
Hartford, Conn., and Albertus of
Staatsburg; three daughters, Mrs.
Caretta Murch of Manchester,
Conn., Mrs. Mildred Ruger of
Staatsburg and Mrs. Ida Mary Hawley
of Poughkeepsle, a brother, Robert
Crusius of Pleasant Valley; a
sister, Mrs. Amelia Cookingham of
Staatsburg; 25 grandchildren and
three great grandchildren.
