SAN ANGELO - Geraldine (Jerry) Butman Wilson, 85, of San Angelo died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in an area hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, in the Robert Massie Funeral Home chapel with Darrell Smith, of Business Men's Bible Class, officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, in Blackwell Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Jerry was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Taylor county to William Ford and Lota Jones Butman and was a housewife.

She married James Curtis Wilson on June 29, 1940, in Taylor County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, who passed away Nov. 27, 1988, after 48 wonderful years of marriage; a son, Bennie Fain Wilson; and one grandson, Chad Wilson.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Hipp and her husband, Jimmy, of Midland; three sons; W.W. "Bill" Wilson and his wife, Larue of S. Coffeeville, Okla., Larry Wilson and his wife, Tina of Sterling City, Son Payton Wilson and his wife, Debbie of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Barry Hipp and his wife, Renea, Jettie Holland and her husband, Gordon, Tammy Pardue and her husband, Mike, Debbie King and her husband, David, Terri Logan and her husband, Greg, Shayne Wilson and his wife, Allison and Ashley Grotelueschen and her husband, Jerry; sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in Jerry's honor to West Texas Rehab at 298 Robinhood Trail San Angelo, Texas 76901 of to Vista Care Hospice at 402 N. Bryant San Angelo, Texas 76903
