. F. (LaFaite) "Fate" Barnes, 98, of Enigma died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. D Ray and Rev. E Rowe will officiate with burial to follow in Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Barnes was born on November 19, 1909 in Ben Hill County and was the son of Lewis Gip Barnes and Clara Ellis Nichols Barnes, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Irene Rowe Barnes; three brothers; and five sisters. He was a retired farmer. - Edited by FAG guidelines.
