Thelma Sinclair
CIRCLEVILLE --- Thelma Louise Sinclair, 72, Circleville, died Thursday, March 2, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Sinclair worked for the Wilson Hatchery in Atchison and she was a Green Thumb worker for the NEK-CAP Office in Holton.
She was born March 18, 1927, in Monrovia, the daughter of Andy Bert and Lulu Chase Donovan. She graduated from Effingham High School, and lived most her life in Netawaka and Circleville.
Mrs. Sinclair was a member of Monrovia Methodist Church. She married David H. Sinclair on March 3, 1951, in Atchison. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Melvin D. Sinclair, Circleville, and Michael R. Sinclair, Oskaloosa; a sister, Della Mercer, Atchison; and three grandchildren. A son, Robert Sinclair, died in May 1970.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Monrovia Cemetery. Mrs. Sinclair will lie in state at the funeral home until service time. Relatives and friends will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and sent in care of the funeral home.
