Table Rock Argus, July 24, 1931.

MRS. M. H. IRWIN

OBITUARY-

Georgia Ann Aylor, was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, March 5, 1858, and died at her home in Table Rock July 9, 1931, aged 73 years, 4 months and 4 days.

She was united in marriage to M. H. Irwin February 14, 1878. to this union were born six children, three girls and three boys, all of whom are living and have been at her bedside during her illness.

With her husband she came to Nebraska in 1886 and has resided near Table Rock since that time.

At the age of 13 she united with the Baptist church, later joining the Methodist church at this place. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, the six children, seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Our loving and devoted wife and mother has gone to her earned reward, We shall miss her so each day and hour for always the care and the comfort of loved ones were upper-most in her mind. For two years she has been a constant companion to our afflicted father, leaving nothing undone that might add to his comfort. All that loving hands could do was done but a memory of her dear self will be with us always.

God needed Himself an ally
So He looked about for another
Who would work with Him
For the good of the world
And He picked out simply-a mother.
So we are thankful for life's mysteries and joys,
it's lessons and blessings from above.
Thankful to God for a million things,
but most of all for you and love.

Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Many people were in attendance and many beautiful flowers were brought as tokens of the love and esteem in which she was held by all who knew her. Interment was in the Table Rock cemetery. Thus has passed from the earth life to her reward in the eternal city one who was faithful and earnest in the performance of life's duties.
