Ronald David Abrams, 64, of Crystal City died Jan. 9, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City. Mr. Abrams was a retired inspector for Chrysler and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Born July 14, 1945, in Festus, he was the son of the late Jerry Lee and Virginia Rose (Reheisse) Abrams.

He is survived by two daughters: Chera (John) Voss of Crystal City and Jenee (Brent) Chamberlain of Louisville, Ky.; three brothers: Mike (Susan) Abrams of Festus, Brent (Kris) Abrams of Festus and Dennis Abrams of Festus; three sisters: Sharon (the late Jerry) Howe of Festus, JoAnn (Danny) Kenny of Affton and Carleen Abrams of St. Louis; and four grandchildren: Jarod and Gabriel Voss and Chase and Kyler Chamberlain.

Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at Sacred Heart Church, officated by the Rev. Jospeh Wormek. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
