Roy W. Donelson, 83, Hopedale, passed away at 9:40 p.m. Thursday (July 22, 2010) at Hopedale Hospital.
He was born May 1, 1927 in La Crosse, Indiana to Fred and Barbara Kaufmann Donelson. He married Carolyn Easton on March 25, 1950 in Heyworth. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Vicki (John) Reeser, Pekin; two sons, Dennis Donelson, Bloomington and Phillip (Tanya) Donelson, Clinton; four grandchildren, Taylor, Riley, Christopher and Jacob and one brother, Paul Donelson, St. Petersburg, Fl. He was preceded in death by five brothers.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
