Mrs. Gircy Watts Edmiston, 71, died Tuesday night at the Columbia Nursing Facility following an extended illness. She was a waitress for a number of years at the Dixie Maid Grill and the Maury County Tobacco Warehouse. Prayer services will be conducted tonight at 8:30 at Oakes and Nichols Funeral Home. The body will be conveyed to Corinth Cemetery in Holman, Ala., for burial Thursday afternoon. A native of Covington, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Z.R. and Henrietta Geiger Watts. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist church. She is survived by a brother, B.B. Watts, Sims, Ala., and two half-brothers, Edward Watts, Long Beach, Miss., and Elmer Watts, Gulfport, Miss.
