Dallastown - Funeral services were held yesterday for John Stump, a retired carpenter, who died Tuesday at his residence, 22 East Howard street.
Brief rites were conducted at Purd A. Riedel Funeral home, here, with concluding obsequies at Salem Union church, Jacobus. Pallbearers were: Palmer Keller, Glenn and John H. Stump, Clair Deardorff, Charles Warner, and Kenneth Dietrich. Rev. J. Bruce Weaver, pastor of the Lutheran congregation of Salem Union church, officiated. Internment was in Salem Union cemetery.
