Charles Holbrook Buried Tuesday
Funeral service for Charles Holbrook, 70, former Valley Falls resident, was held Tuesday at the Hagge Funeral Home with burial in the Valley Falls cemetery.
He died Sunday in a Fredonia nursing home. He was born March 5, 1889, near Valley Falls. For many years he was employed by the Meyer Milk company at Valley Falls, Oskaloosa and Lawrence. Later he operated a filling station here and at Oskaloosa. He lived at Neodesho two years.
Survivors are his wife, Olive, of Lansing; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Nevins of Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kempter, Mrs. Etta Reichart and Mrs. Rose Reichart, all of Valley Falls.
