Mrs. Fannie Chapman died at her home Friday evening in Lueders, December 4. Mrs. Chapman had been in ill health for several months, her death was caused by heart disease. Mrs. Chapman was born in Tennessee, April 25, 1855, and was 86 years old at the time of her death. She came to Texas with her parents when she was a child. Mrs. Chapman made her home in Lueders for 23 years and was a member of the local Methodist church. Funeral service was conducted at the Methodist Church Sunday morning at 11:00 by Rev. J.S. Strother, pastor of the church. Burial followed in the Clear Fork cemetery. W.N. Kinney in charge.
Survived: six daughters - Mrs. J.W. Royal of Albany; Mrs. J.P. Vickers of Lueders; Mrs. O.E. Henson of Brownfield; Mrs. B. Solomon of Mason; Mrs. Mollie Mullins of Waco; Mrs. Lizzie Smith of Bridgeport; one son - J.L. Chapman of Hamby; 60 grand; 23 great. Her husband preceded her in death 10 years and also four of her children.
