Her gravestone is engraved "Mary Anna Jagodzinski" (Polish spelling). Her husband died 2 months prior to her and his is engraved "Yagodzinski".

DIED - YAGODZINSKI - At her home, 508 Beaver Street, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1909, of pnemonia, Mrs. Mary Yagodzinski, in the 72nd year of her age.

Deceased was born in Shubin, Germany, where she was married to Michael Yagodzinski. In 1874 her husband came to the United States, and located on a farm near this city. Two years later she came here and joined him on the farm where they lived for four years, after which they moved to this city, where they lived until called to the home of their maker. Mr. Yagodzinski died October 15, 1909, and it was at his funeral the widow caught the cold which caused her death.

She was the mother of eight children, three of whom survive to mourn the loss of a true Christian mother. They are: Frank of this city, Julius of Pana, IL., and Mrs. Victoria Bagniski of the town of Beaver Dam. Her funeral was held from St. Michael's church Thursday forenoon.
