FREDERICK - Graveside service for Glenna Dean Russell, 77, Frederick, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Frederick Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Les Banks officiating.
Mrs. Russell passed away on Thurs., July 8, 2010, at Elk City medical center.
Burial will follow under direction of Jackson Funeral Home of Frederick.
Glenna Dean Grayson Russell was born Oct. 19, 1932, in Bowie Texas, to Bonnie B. and Irene Grimes Grayson. She attended Northside School in Vernon, Texas, before transferring to Frederick in the seventh grade and then graduating from Frederick High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Bobby Wayne Russell in May 1950 in Frederick. He passed away on Oct. 26, 1989. They divorced in 1959. Glenna started working at the First National Bank & Trust in Frederick in 1964. She continued to work as a bookkeeper through the change to First Southwest and BancFirst and later as a receptionist until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Frederick.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Tom Ryan, Burns Flat; a granddaughter, Jill Kinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Bob.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
