Cause of death: Heart failure from natural causes.

NOTE: Death year on his stone appears to be in error. His death certificate clearly shows that death occurred at 3 p.m. on Aug. 8, 1929. The coroner, Lee Snow, certified the death. The Cox & Needham funeral home indicates that burial took place on Aug. 10th and the document was filed by the County Registrar, Mrs. H. G. Whitaker, on Aug. 12th.
