William M. Hensley - "Loyd Ramsey shot Sy (Silas) Hensley - put the pistol right up against him and shot in the left side about the 3rd rib, it set his clothes on fire. Had a 32 S&W. Marvin Ramsey held him. Then he shot John T. Hensley. Then I got a 5'-6' pole from the woodpile and ran Loyd Ramsey off, went down the fork of the road and knocked old man James Ramsey down, then went about ten steps further down the road and knocked Jesse Ramsey down...at first thought it was Loyd until he turned around. Went back past old man Ramsey, Mrs. Ramsey was holding his head in her lap."
