Union, April 26 - Mrs Bettie Ellis, wife of Mr D Newton Ellis, died at her home near Greenville, Monroe county, on Saturday evening, April 17, after a distressing illness of heart disease. Her age was about 55 years. Mrs Ellis was a Miss Taylor before her marriage, a daughter of the late Henry Taylor, and was born and reared in Monroe county.
