Mrs. Bertha C. Ledet
Mrs Bertha Cheramie Ledet, A native of Leevill and resident of Golden Meadow, died in New Orleans Wednesday, October 1 at 3 a.m. at the age of 68 years.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Ledet, by a son, Ernest Ledet Jr., and by daughters Mrs. Douglas (Earline) Griffin, Mrs. C. J. (Una Mae) Cheramie Jr., and Rosemary Ledet.
Two sons, the late William Eddie Ledet, and the late Lee Earl Ledet, preceded her in death.
Survivors also include nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. from Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church for religious services at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Visitation began at 9 a.m. this morning and will continue until funeral time Friday.
Falgout Funeral Homes Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
