A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Louise J. Guidry Griffin, 82, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, who died at 4:56 a.m. Nov. 12, 1997.
Visitation will be 2 to 11 p.m. today and 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano.
Burial will be in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She was the mother of Abraham Joseph and Earl John Griffin and Mrs. Ernest (Emma Lois Griffin) Prince. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Abraham Griffin; parents, Julian Sr. Ovelia Hebert Guidry; two brothers, Julian Jr. and Harris Guidry Sr.; and four sisters, Mrs. Joe (Maggie) Serigny, Mrs. Adam (Katie) Cheramie, Mrs. Gustavo (Celima) Griffin Sr., and Priscilla Gisclair.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
