JACK E. ALCOTT, 64, of Mantua, died Saturday in Underwood-Memorial Hospital, Woodbury.
Born in Camden, Mr. Alcott lived in Gibbstown most of his life and retired in 1974 from the Du Pont Co., Repaupo plant, after working 25 years as a pipe insulator. He was a member of the Paulsboro Sportsman Club and a life member of the Anglesea Fire Department of North Wildwood. He was also an exempt member of the state Fireman's Relief Association.
Survivors: his wife, Thelma E.; four daughters, Jacqueline A. Kupsey of Bridgeport, Carole J. Giordano of Clarksboro, Janet L. Montemore of Gibbstown and Cynthia L. Bernstein of West Deptford; six grandchildren; one great- grandchild; three brothers, Leonard of Mullica Hill, William of Paulsboro and Carl of Gibbstown; five sisters, Ethel Clifford and Delores Trout, both of Gibbstown, Thelma Humphrey of Penns Grove, Lois DeHart of Thorofare and Claudia Baker of Woodbury.
Services: viewing, 7 to 9 p.m. today, Pettit-McBride Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro; funeral, 10 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home; burial, Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
