PEORIA -- Veronica Dane, 80, formerly of 3017 N. Mission Road, died at 9:51 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 1994, at Rosewood Care Center in
Peoria.
Born March 9, 1914, in Glenwood, Minn., to Joseph and Michaelena Kott Achter, she married Herbert L. Dane on Sept. 23, 1938, in Minnesota. He died in November 1957, in Pine City, Minn. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Surviving are one son; one daughter; four grandchildren; one brother; and one sister.
A nurse, she was a 1939 graduate of Eitel Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. There will be no visitation. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran School Library Fund.
