FRANCIS NELSON

Francis Joseph Nelson, 56, of Bethany died Saturday in Greenwood after a long illness.
Mr. Nelson was a veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be at 10 am today in McGuire Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian with the Rev. Bob Wolfe,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ida, officiating. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Ida.
Mr. Nelson's survivors include his wife, Virginia G. Nelson; his step-mother, Beatrice Eubanks of Ida; three sons, Michael W. Nelson of Kilgore, Texas. Freddie James Nelson of Minden, and Rodney Glenn Nelson of Bethany; a daughter, Debra Ann Nelson Inman of Waskom Texas; two half-brothers, Charles Nelson, and General Lee Nelson, both of Morgan City; and four grandchildren.
