Mr. Budesheim's obituary appeared in the 12/1/1938 Chatham Courier:
"Peter Budesheim Buried Wednesday
Peter Budesheim, a retired farmer for past 18 years, passed away Sunday afternoon in Samaritan Hospital, in Troy, after a lingering illness. He was 76.
Mr. Budesheim was a member of Taborton German Lutheran Church and well and favorably known in that section.
Funeral services were conducted from the Taborton church at 2:30 pm, Wednesday with the Rev. Oscar Egli officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, five daughters: Mrs. Edward Rhine___, Mrs. Clifford Lafferty, Mrs. Bert Teal, Mrs. Edward Teal, and Mrs. Arthur Teal; two sons Nicholas and Adam Budesheim; a sister, Mrs. Adam Schuman; and two brothers, John and William Budesheim. 12 Grandchildren also survive."

Peter Budesheim was born July 18, 1862 in (I believe it says) Friedenwald. On May 30, 1888, he married Katherine Iffland who was born in Taborton on March 2, 1870.
