Ethel M. Baumbach, 71, of 45 S. Cherokee Lane, died Saturday morning in a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Baumbach was born, reared and educated in Hope, Kan., and moved to Lodi in 1920. She graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1925 marrying William Baumbach in 1926.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Church of God.
Mrs. Baumbach is survived by her husband; two sons, Darrell and Donald Baumbach of Lodi; three brothers, Sam Engel of Lodi; Lloyd Engel of Escalon and Alvin Engel of Clements; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Henderson of Lodi; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Melvin Reuscher and David Blanke officiating. Burial will be in the Lodi memorial Cemetery.
