Norman G. Anderson, 72, of Oxford died Tuesday February 2, at the Hospice House in Auburn.
He was born on August 15, 1937 to George and Dorothy (Winslow) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator.
He served his country faithfully in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Anderson of Oxford, a daughter Debbie Erickson of North Carolina, two sons Randy Barton and Charlie Barton of South Paris, son-in-law Jerry Erickson of North Carolina, a sister Beverly Lee of Auburn, grandchildren Jackie Martin, Johnny Martin, Cody Erickson, Alexa Barton, Casey Barton, Morgan Harrington, great-granddaughter Aubree Lynn Johnson, great-grandson Braden Pike step-daughters Rebecca Richardson, and husband Harry of Oxford, Ramona White and husband Roy of Peru, step-grandchildren Dezirae Hodgkins, Kyle Richardson, Richard Backstrom, Sammy White, and Jessica White.
At the family's request there will be no services at this time. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Highland Cemetery in West Poland. Arrangements under the direction of Oxford Hills Funeral Services, 1037 Main Street, Rte. 26, Oxford, Maine.
