Ines P. (Pascucci) Ablondi, age 89, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Wayland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was the wife of 56 years to the late Louis J. Ablondi Sr. who died in 2001.
Born in Fano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Andrea and Ida (Paolini) Pascucci.
She attended Framingham Schools and had worked at the former Jordan Marsh store in Framingham for 25 years.
Mrs. Ablondi is survived by a daughter, Elaine A. and her husband Gerhard R. Schmidt of Chestnut Hill and a son, Louis J. and his wife Cathy Ablondi of Framingham. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Schmidt-Morrison and her husband Jason, Louis J. Ablondi, Scott Gordon and his wife Daryl, and Joel Gordon and his wife Monoshini; her great grandchildren, Evan Gordon, Alyssa Gordon and Aarman Gordon; a brother John A. Leonardi of Florida; a sister, Joanne Sostilio of Framingham and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. She was the sister of the late Joseph A. Pascucci.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, July 23, 2010 from 9-9:30 a.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, www.nortonfuneralhome.com, 53 Beech St, (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Stephen's Church, 251 Concord St. (Rt. 126), Framingham.
Burial will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham.
