Bernard Heinz
services for Bernard J. "Ben" Heinz Sr., 92, a retired farmer from the Kickapoo area, will be at 9:30 AM tomorrow at Wright & Salmon Mortuary and at 10 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kickapoo. The Rev. Lawrence Morrissey will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Kickapoo. Friends may call at the mortuary 3-5 and 7-9 PM today and the Rosary will be recited at 8. Mr. Heinz died at 12:25 PM Wednesday at Proctor Hospital where he was admitted Monday. He had recently resided in St. Joseph's Home in Lacon. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kickapo and the Men's Club of the parish. Born in Kicapoo on May 25, 1881, he was a son of Andrew and Anne Leibel Heinz. He married Mary Loescher on May 23, 1905 in Kickapoo. Surviving are his widow three sons, Clarence of Peoria, Bernard D. of Metamora and Vincent J of Lakeside Fla; three daughters Mrs. Ernest (Loretta) Michael of Edwards, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Cash of Pekin and Mrs. James (Roberta) Mason of Miani, Fla; 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. One daughter and four brothers precede him in death.
