James Leonard Rogers, former Preston resident passed away May 13, 2003, at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. James was born in Malad, Idaho, on April 7, 1957, the son of LaVern Leonard Rogers and Dorothy Raynette Palmer. James attended Preston High School. James always had an interest in and enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his father, Vern Rogers (Maryanne); his grandmother, Emma Palmer of Preston, Idaho; two daughters, Christalina Rogers of Miton and Tiara Rogers of Washington. He is also survived by two brothers, George Rogers of Jackson Hole Wyoming and Lee Rogers (Becky) of Fairview, Idaho; Vernette (Ed) Sidwell of Preston Idaho; three sisters, Sunny Broussard of Logan, Desiree Bailey of Logan and Sidney Broussard of Salt Lake City.

Friends may pay tribute to James on May 17, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home in Preston. Internment will be at the Lewiston Cemetery.
