She was born on April 4, 1918, in Carmi, the daughter of Rufus and Lena (Easton) Blagg.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Brown and husband Ernie of Mt. Vernon; a grandson, James R. Brown and wife Teresa of Mt. Vernon and their children, Blythe Lee Brown and Bethaney Brown of Mt. Vernon; a granddaughter, Cindy Isaac and husband Rob of Woodlawn and their children Bria and Kelsey Korris and Megan Isaac of Woodlawn; a brother, Charles Victor Blagg and wife Betty of Louisville, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Delores Blagg of Mt. Vernon and Betty Ann Heath of Phoenix; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rufus Edward Blagg and Joe Leroy Blagg; two sisters, Dora Mildred Blagg and Mabel McLaughlin; and a brother-in-law, Harold "Teen" McLaughlin.
Daisy worked at the Mode O' Day garment factory in Mt. Vernon and Wayne City until retirement.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at East Salem Cemetery in Jefferson County with the Rev. Les Sinks officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at Hughey Funeral Home.
