Jean C. (Schleifer) Fritzius, 88, of North Braddock, died Thursday, April 1, 2010, in Lgar Home, Turtle Creek.
She was born Nov. 30, 1921, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Theodore J. and Hannah (Griffith) Schleifer Sr.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Braddock.
She was the beloved wife of the late John C. "Jack" Fritzius Sr.
She was the mother of Carol Lee (the late Mel) Harmening, of North Versailles, and John C. "Jack" (Coleen) Fritzius Jr., of Penn Township; grandmother of Tom (Kim Loan) Duray, Tracey (David) Shogan, Kenneth (Nancy) Duray, Jack Fritzius III, Keith Fritzius, Amy Fritzius, Maria Fritzius and Joel Fritzius; great-grandmother of seven; and sister of Theo Jozwiak, of Braddock, and the late Theodore J. Schleifer Jr.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home Inc., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, and William Brian Schleifer, funeral director.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Good Shepherd Church, Braddock, with the Rev. Thomas J. Burke as celebrant.
Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery, North Braddock.
