The sad news of the death of Alta Hall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall of Porterville was received here Sunday. Their many friends in this vicinity extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved parents and relatives.
Daughter Of Well Known Couple Here Passes Away
Alta Lorene Hall Dies After Illness of Complication of Troubles for Past Few Weeks

After a struggle for weeks against a complication of troubles, Alta Lorene Hall, the 12-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hall, passed away yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the family residence, 300 C street.
She had been ill for two months and for several weeks past her condition was known to have been critical.
Alta Hall had a host of friends not alone among the children of her own age but among those who were older and who learned to know the sterling qualities of the little girl.
The funeral services will be held from the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock.
