Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday for Loyd Henry Howe, 56, of 2320 Pinckney Ave. The services were held at Hankins-Whittington Funeral Home with Rev. Fred C. Roberts officiating.

Survivors include a wife, Mrs. Carrie Dulin Lowe; a son, Jack L. Lowe; a stepdaughter, Mrs. L. W. Brown; three brothers, B. L. Lowe and D. K. Lowe of Charlotte and W. F. Lowe of Roanoke Rapids; a sister, Mrs. J. J. Sanders; and five grandchildren.
