Funeral Services Are Conducted For Nancy E. Daley

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy E. Daley were held this morning at Myers Chapel. Elder Don E. Duncan of the Seventh Day Adventist Church officiated.

Two of Mrs. Daley's favorite hymns, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages" were sung by Mrs. Isabelle Langston with organ accompaniment by Mrs. Catharine Frame.

Serving as casket bearers were Earl K. Barkwille, Lester L. Babb, Fred L. Johnson, Wilbur F. Sink, Jack E. Dunton and Carl K. Wilson. The rites were concluded at the grave in Hillcrest Memorial Park by Elder Duncan and the Neighbors of Woodcraft, of which Mrs. Daley was a member.

Mrs. Daley was also a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and Welfare Society and of the Women's Christian Temperance Society.

Survivors are her husband Edwin Daley and a son Marshall Daley, both of this city, brothers, Moses Hart of Taft, Aaron and Chester Hart of Bakersfield; a sister Mrs. Norma Hoag of Fresno and five grand children.

Mrs. Nancy E. Daley, 75, who was born in Kern County passed away early Friday afternoon at her home at 1320 West Putnam Street. She had been a resident of this community for the past 52 years and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and of the Neighbors of Woodcraft.

Mrs. Daley is survived by her husband, Edwin Daley; a son, Marshall Daley, both of Porterville; three brothers: Moses Hart of Taft, Aaron and Chester Hart of Bakersfield; one sister, Mrs. Norma Hoag of Fresno and five grandchildren.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Myers Chapel. Interment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
