Allen LaRue (Bud) McPherson, son of Roy LaRue and A. Mildred Dunning McPherson was born on November 16, 1926. He died on June 26, 1997 at the Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Private services were held.
He was educated in Bonners Ferry where he played high school basketball and trumpet in the band. He joined the Army during World War II and served until the end of the war.
On February 22, 1952 he married Judy Hanson. They lived in Alaska where their four sons were born. They were divorced some years later.
Bud moved back to Bonners Ferry in the early 1970's where he worked at the LP Mill from 1974 until his retirement in May of 1990.
He is survived by: his sons, Roderick, Gordon, Michael, and Allen; his grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Curtis, Kevin, Lia and Margaret; as well as numerous cousins.
We will miss him.
