From Novelty.
JULY 12th, 1880.
On Monday, the 5th, died, after an illness of several months. Mrs. O'Brien, wife of Rev. W. M. O'Brien of this place. The deceased was a faithful wife, a kind mother and an exemplary christian lady. The family have the sympathies of this whole community. On Tuesday the funeral discourse was delivered by Rev. Bond, at the frame church, after which the remains were laid to rest in Novelty cemetery. A great number attended the funeral. "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord."
