"Nick'' Mccabe Jr., Beloved Father Of Morell ""Mo'' Crane Jr., Carolyn ""Carey'' Williams Of Santa Ana, California, John Crane Of Los Angeles, California, David Crane, And Kevin Mccabe, Died Wednesday Of Colon Cancer At His New Orleans Home. He Was 74 And Is Also Survived By Six Grandchildren And Two Sisters. Mr. Mccabe Had Lived In New Orleans Since 1959 And Was Married To Lyn Schwab Mccabe From 1968 Until Her Death In 1995. For Nearly Three Decades He Worked As Both The Audubon Park Head Tennis Pro And As A Times-Picayune News Editor. A Lover Of Nature, Nick Was A Supporter Of A Number Of Environmental Causes And Was A Lifelong Fisherman. He Also Enjoyed Classical Music, Literature, And Was An Avid Sports Fan. A Funeral Will Be Held Saturday At 1 P.M. At Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Visitation Will Begin At 11 A.M.Burial Will Be In Metairie Cemetery.Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Is In Charge Of Arrangements.
