East Peoria, IL - John F. Andreas, 81, of 127 Pierson died at 12:12 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 1996, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Born July 30, 1914, in Strawn to Clarence and Alice Farragher Andreas, he married Josephine Koehler on July 5, 1941, in Palmyra, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. One sister preceded him in death.

He worked at Caterpillar Inc. in material control for 31 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Caterpillar Retirees Club and United Auto Workers Local 974.
