Newspaper: The Odessa News-Times, Friday Afternoon, July 28, 1939.

GRADY BLYTHE AND MISS ODELL BLACKWELL MARRIED IN LOVINGTON.
With the slim excuse of business in Seagraves, knowing friends watched, Grady Blythe of the B & H Food stores, and Miss Odell Blackwell left for that city yesterday afternoon, feeling that it was a trip to the alter.
Thus enough, Miss Blackwell and Mr. Blythe were married on Thursday afternoon in Lovington, New Mexico, by Judge John W. Green. Their only attendant was the News-Times advertising manager, Guy Cannon.
The bride wore a navy blue travel suit with a white trimmed blouse. Her picture straw hat was trimmed with fuchsia as were accessories.
Mrs. Blythe is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Blackwell of Dublin and has lived in this city for several years. Mr. Blythe is the manager of the B & H Food stores in Odessa and Seagraves.
The couple will leave Saturday for a short wedding trip to Dublin where they will visit the bride's parents. They will be at home in Odessa.
